What Is a Promotion?
A promotion is a marketing tool that involves publicity, advertising, sales promotion, and direct marketing. It is the element of the marketing mix used to:
- Inform consumers about products or services, their prices, and how to obtain them.
- Persuade consumers to purchase products or services.
- Remind consumers about the benefits of transacting business with a store or company.
What Is a Campaign?
According to the American Marketing Association, a promotional campaign is the combination of various advertising, public relations, sales promotion, and personal selling activities used by the marketer over a period of time to achieve predetermined goals.
For the custom photo gift promotion competition, you may enter up to two campaigns. Each campaign may have a minimum of 3 components and maximum of 7 components. A campaign is considered one entry.
